Pushkar Camel Fair
Highlights:
During the full moon, each November, a remarkable
event takes place in Pushkar and its surrounding sand dunes — the
Pushkar Camel Fair. Nomads and camel traders bring more than 25,000
camels to buy, sell and trade. The camel-covered dunes, camel races,
camel saddle and jewelry stalls and wildly colorful fairgrounds add up
to one of the most amazing events in all of India. Travelers on our
special festival departure dates will visit the Pushkar Camel Fair and
stay in the visitors’ tented village; the slightly higher price for
these departures reflects this extraordinary added feature.
Duration: 14 Days/13 Nights
Destinations Covered: New Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Pushkar -
Udaipur - Jodhpur -Jaisalmer
